PREPARATION

Please prepare two 90-second contrasting contemporary monologues. For example, one 90-second comedic and one 90-second dramatic. Also, please bring TWO (2) printed, single page resumes with a printed headshot four-corner stapled to the back of the resume, or send in via email after digital signup. An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition.

Next Act Theatre (NAT) produces four (4) productions per season, plus a staged reading. Each production has three weeks of rehearsal, followed by five days of tech, and three weeks of performances totaling 6 weeks of employment and 18 performances.

WEN CHANG - 43, male, Chinese, coach of Beijing University's men's basketball team. Observant, efficient. Favors three­ pointers over aggressive inside shots. Tim Duncan would appreciate his energy. (His English is formal but relatively unaccented.)
