Actors will be given sides from the show to prepare for auditions upon confirmation of appointment.

Sides will also be provided at the auditions.

Seeking:

Leo Joseph­Connell
early 20s, lanky, fit. Irreverent and outdoorsy. New Age (a?modern hippie, replete with knowledge of Rumi and seasonal equinoxes), ?friendly but lacks accountability or real maturity.

Vera Joseph
80s-90s. Leo's grandmother. Frail but not without fortitude. A young and wily spirit in an?increasingly aging body, frustrated by her signs of aging (hard of hearing and sometimes forgetful). Deeply lonely, honest and direct.

Bec
early 20s. Leo's girlfriend, who has decided to break up with him. ?Socially aware in a very college student kind of way, defensive, both of this ?quality and in general. More grounded and ambitous than Leo.

Amanda
late teens/early 20s. Chinese American. A very fashion forward college student. Although only a few years apart from Leo, almost a product of a different, younger generation. Same actor plays Leo's sister, Lily (offstage)

Seeking:

Dave­
30s-40s. Professional but with a sense of humor. A little bit of a goofball. Terrified of the increasing demands grownup life makes on him. Confused, awkward and sometimes tactless as a result. Deeply loves his wife but second guessing their decision to have a baby.

All female characters are played by same actress.
To play Mid 30s mid 40s:

Susan
Dave's wife of ten years. Believes love is a process filled with problems, but you just have to get through it. Loves Dave but can get frustrated with his man-child ways.

Emily
Dave's co-worker, having the time of her life being non committed to a single relationship. Doesn't believe in clishes about love and family. British accent.

Fantasy Woman
Part of Dave's imigination, his excotic female escort. Flippant, powerful, sexy, does not suffer fools gladly. Speaks in broken English with a Unkranian accent.

Raffi-Female Escort
brash, gum popping, more suspicious, and rough around the edges than Dave's ideal. Long Island accent.

Bertie Wilberforce Wooster
30s-40s. An affluent bachelor with a tendancy to get himself into tricky situations. Simply has not grown up and has little understanding of the world around him. Even though he's self centered he's very likeable and harmless.

Jeeves
40s Bertie's unflappable valet. Level headed. Always thinking 5 steps ahead. Long suffering but discreet and flawlessly mannered.

Eustace Bassington-Bassington
30s 40s. Bertie's old school chum. Unlucky romantically, socially, and financially. Not the brightest bulb. Anxious and lacks tact especially when under pressure.

Agatha Spencer Gregson
50s-60s. Bertie's aunt. A terrifying representative of the type of very opinionated English matriarch who can run an enormous household, meddle in her nephew's life, and shoot partridges, probably all at the same time. Impatient with what she sees as Bertie's spinelessness and unwillingness to settle down.

Gertrude Winklesworth-Bode
20s-30s. Agatha's top pick for Bertie's future wife. A strong woman within the social structure of the time. An intellect and self proclaimed Molder of men. Recognizes the potential of Bertie as husband material.

Sir Rupert Watlington
60s-70s. Eustace's uncle and providor of his allowance. Gruff, former military in the grand British tradition.

Blunt and open, morally ambiguous, unlucky when it comes to men. Independent, divorced, has a thirteen­year­old daughter she's raised mostly on her own. Loves shoes.
