Seeking
Actors of all ethnicities and body types, physical abilities, and ages are encouraged to audition. Actors in Metamorphoses must be comfortable in and out of a pool of water.
Preparation
1- 1 minute comedic contemporary monologue AND 1- 1 minute dramatic classical monologue. Please have knowledge of the scripts. Scripts are available for checkout from the Aurora Fox Box Office Monday through Friday 9-4 or during performances Friday, Saturday 6-10, or Sunday 1-4.

Breakdown
4 Men and 4 Women ages 18-65 for Metamorphoses. All cast members will play multiple roles in an overall ensemble.
4 men age 18-35, 6 men ages 30-70, 5 women ages 16-65, 1 boy and one girl ages 8-16 and 1 boy age 14-22 for Washington Irving's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. All cast members will be involved in the prologue battle at the beginning of the show. No fight experience necessary.

Metamorphoses:
Woman by the Water, Scientist, Zeus, Three Laundresses, Midas and His Daughter, Silenus, Bacchus, Ceyx (a King), Alcyone (his Wife), Hermes, Aphrodite, Erysichthin and His Mother, Orpheus, Euridice, Vertumnus, Pomona (a Wood Nymph), Cinyras (a King), Myrrah (his Daughter), Nursemaid, Phaeton, Thearapist, Eros, Psyche, Q and A, Baucis (a Poor Woman), Philemon (her husband), narrators, servants, sailors, Gods, Goddesses, denizenss of the Underworld, and Spirits.
The breakdown of roles in Metamorphoses will be determined by the makeup of the final cast. All roles will be cast in an ensemble nature, in which each member has several features and several supporting roles. All members must be comfortable in the water, and some partial nudity may be required for some cast members in performance (not at auditions). Actors ages 16-65 of all body types and ethnicities are encouraged to audition. Equity Actors will be considered for all roles (min 2 contracts available)
Washington Irving's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow:
Ichabod Crane- a young schoolmaster (M- 18-35)
Katrina Van Tassel- a coquettish young woman (F- 16-24)
Deidrich Knickerbocker- a storyteller (M 40-70)
Abraham Von Brunt (aka Brom Bones)- a rival for Katrina's affections (M 20-35)
The Van Tassels, Van Rippers, Vedders, Martlings, and citizens of Sleepy Hollow: (M 30-70, F 25-60, Children 8-16), and the Headless Horseman.
All actors will play soldiers in the prologue battle. No fight experience necessary.
Equity Actors will be considered for all roles (a minimum of 3 contracts will be available).
