BREAKDOWN
For the 2018-2019 Lookingglass Theatre season we are looking at a cross-section of actors for this call:
Please note that because Lookingglass produces primarily original work we do not have scripts or titles available to list/provide at this time for next season. We are looking at a number of projects to be announced in the coming months. However, each of the projects in primary consideration requires a contemporary, naturalistic style of performance. There is one potential piece that is a 19th century gothic adaptation, but it too should have a somewhat naturalistic feel. As a result, we are asking actors to prepare a single audition piece per the 'Preparation' instructions provided. In addition, actors should highlight any music, dance, acrobatic or circus skills on their resumes. There is one possible selection that will be primarily physical/lyrical in nature.
