World premiere production. Set in Manhattan and its suburbs. Thought-provoking comic-drama that explores how people cope with collective and personal tragedy. The characters are touchingly human, struggling to learn what it means to belong to another person and to a larger community, all while figuring out how to meet their own needs. With surprising humor, the piece undertakes some of the larger and more troubling questions of American life without forgetting that every struggle, even political ones, is ultimately personal.
