2 PM – Equity female dancers who sing very well New York City
Please be warmed up and ready to dance when the call begins. Women: Character shoes with a heel and tap shoes with a heel. Wear a dance skirt or tap shorts. Men: Jazz/character shoes and tap shoes. Wear slacks and a button-down or polo shirt. Some may be asked to stay and sing after all have danced. Please prepare 16 bars of a traditional music theatre song from the 1940s (Berlin, Gershwin, Porter or Kern only). Bring sheet music in the correct key; accompanist is provided, but may not transpose.
Please bring a picture & resume, stapled back-to-back.

Characters are early 20s - mid 30s. Dancers need major tap skills, and must be equally strong in ballroom and theatre jazz. Must sing very well. The following features and covers come out of the dancing ensemble:
Rita and Rhoda: Mid 20s - early 30s. Tall, comedic, sexy flirty showgirls. Not very bright. Featured ensemble.
