Seeking (all roles are available):
Casting director’s note: “All characters must sing (at least a bit), and should be able to hold pitch in a group harmony. Seeking actors of all types who can authentically capture the spirit and style of a 1940s live radio performance – seeking actors of all ethnicities for all roles.”
George Bailey:
25-40. Solid, salt-of the-earth family man, but a dreamer at heart.
Man #2:
Plays multiple characters (40-60). Seeking a mature leading-man type, but able to play a variety of different characters (Potter, Ernie, Policeman, Radio Announcer, etc.).
Man #3:
Plays multiple characters (35-65). Seeking mature character man with variety of accents and eccentricities. (Clarence, Bert, Martini, etc.).
Mary Hatch:
25-35. Loving and lovable girlfriend, then wife and mother.
Woman #2:
Plays multiple characters (average 25-45). Seeking versatile character woman able to play a variety of roles from a young child to age 60, including Violet, George’s Mother, George’s Daughter, etc.
