Please prepare a brief classical monologue, preferably comedic, and be familiar with the play.
Please bring a picture & resume, stapled back-to-back.
Seeking (all roles are available):
Dr. Givings: Man, 40s. Specialist in gynecological and hysterical disorders. Kind, smart, scientific.
Catherine Givings: Late 20s, early 30s. The doctor’s wife. Intelligent, inquisitive, strong-willed.
Sabrina Daldry: Early – mid 30s. Patient of Dr. Givings. Gentle, a bit timid.
Annie: Dr. Givings’s midwife assistant. Practical, gentle, compassionate.
Leo Irving: Englishman, 20s or 30s. Dr. Givings’s other patient. Mysterious adventurer, artist, creative soul.
Elizabeth: African American, early 30s. Wet-nurse for Dr. and Mrs. Givings, by default. Works for the Daldrys. Grounded, private, proud.
Mr. Daldry: 40s or 50s. Sabrina’s husband. A bit full of himself, but kind. Humorous.
