The roles of BENNIE RANDLE and ALEJANDRO DIAZ require full nudity. The company will provide an intimacy choreographer.

CUPID – female presenting and identifying, Latinx, 20’s to 30’s. The God of Love. A bitter, fierce exterior that hides a great deal of sensitivity. Incredibly heartbroken and tired. A Latinx woman ready to give up after many years of being disappointed by the failures of the love she creates. NOTE: Speaks both English and Spanish.

VALENTINE- male presenting and identifying, any ethnicity, 20’s to 30’s. The Patron Saint of Love. He is joyous, a rascal--more of a trickster than a saint. He has an affable energy that hides a serious core. Cupid’s old lover. Slightly younger than Cupid.

BENNY RANDLE- male identifying, Black and queer, mid 20’s. He is intuitive, flighty, and emotionally messy, but proves to have a reliable and strong heart. Benny avoids the difficult questions by putting on a façade of ridiculousness and fabulousness. Lover to Alejandro. NOTE: Role requires nudity.

ALEJANDRO DIAZ- male identifying, Latinx and queer, mid 30’s. Slightly pessimistic, sensible almost to a fault, and as steady as water and just as stubborn. Alejandro runs from anything that can hurt him. He has a lonely soul that craves connection. Lover to Benny. NOTE: Role requires nudity. Speaks both English and Spanish.

BETTI- female presenting and identifying, a woman of color, in her 30’s. Incredibly sad, incredibly eager, she has an innocent spirit that is hungry for companionship and meaning. She is looking for something new in her life. Betti is the child of immigrants and a dental hygienist.
