Breakdown
LIBBY:
A cocky yet insecure 19 year old, hungry for and fearful of physical affection. Not hobbled by her fears or shortcomings, she crosses the country to meet the father she never knew. Quick-witted and clever with a comeback.
HERB:
45-55. Libby's father, insecure, floundering in both his professional and personal lives. Verbally witty, emotionally suppressed.
STEFFY:
An attractive woman, 40 years old, a Hollywood make-up artist. Tries to nurture Herb's affection for her. Has a wise 'outside eye of the situation.
