Equity actors for roles in Barn Theatre's 2026 Season (See breakdown). Performers of all ethnicities, gender identities, ages and abilities are encouraged to attend. An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition. Equity’s contracts prohibit discrimination. Please prepare two brief contrasting songs. An accompanist will be provided. Performers who wish to be considered for Escanaba in da Moonlight or Driving Miss Daisy may prepare a short monologue. Please bring your headshot and resume stapled together. Always bring your Equity Membership card to auditions.

• REMNAR SOADY – Thirty-three, Reuben's brother, who also participates in the family hunting activities
• JIMMER NEGAMANEE – Ageless, A friend of the Soady family who joins them at deer camp
• RANGER TOM T. TREADO – Early forties, A DNR officer who interacts with the Soady family during their hunting season
• WOLF MOON DANCE SOADY – Thirties, Reuben's wife, who offers him spiritual advice. Native American.

• Stephen Hopkins - Delegate from Rhode Island. Hopkins' drinking has led to an appearance befitting of the 2nd oldest in the Continental Congress. Age: 70. Vocal range top: C3-Eb4
• Roger Sherman - Delegate from Connecticut. A coffee drinker with a penchant for hyperactivity, Sherman is a simple and balding cobbler. Age 55. Vocal range Bb2-C3
• Robert Livingston - Delegate from New York. Recently a father, Livingston's disposition has become one of humility and graciousness. Age 40. Vocal range Bb2-F4
• Benjamin Franklin - Delegate from Pennsylvania. Franklin is intelligent, well-traveled, and pleasantly cunning. A jolly and admirable fellow with whom one would desire to have a friendship. Age 60s. Vocal range Ab2-Eb4
• John Dickinson - Delegate from Pennsylvania. A thin, hawkish gentleman. He is sharp-tongued and a touch detestable. Age 44. Vocal range A2-E4
• Col. Thomas Mckean - Delegate from Delaware. McKean is florid and likable with a charming, yet commanding, Scottish Brogue. Age 42. Vocal range C3-Eb4
• Richard Henry Lee - Delegate from Virginia, Lee is a willowy aristocrat. His flamboyancy is intoxicating and borderline infuriating. Age 45. Vocal range C3-G4
• Thomas Jefferson - Delegate from Virginia. Though noticeably tall, Jefferson is mild-mannered and sweet. Along with being a well-read man, he is very much in love with his wife. Age 33. Vocal range C3-G4
