Please prepare 32 bars of an up tempo 50’s pop song that shows off your range. Also prepare one song in the style of the show that exhibits your skills on your instrument. If you can accompany yourself on your instrument, that would be ideal. Please bring a picture and resume, stapled together. An accompanist will be provided.
Seeking:
Ensemble Male and Female Singer/Musicians:
Among the ensemble parts available are Apollo performers (African-American men who sing and are proficient on the saxophone, trumpet or trombone) and a female singer/fiddler who can perform tight vocal harmonies as well as expertly play fiddle in the Country-Western style.
We will also be considering those auditioning for the following principle roles: Crickets, Big Bopper, Ritchie Valens, Norman Petty and Vi Petty.
