Ballroom dancers: You will be taught a combination. There may be cuts as we go. MUST BRING PICTURE AND RESUME.

BREAKDOWN

SATINE - Female, all ethnicities, mid 20s to early 30s. Sexy. The star of the Moulin Rouge. Musical selections include Fly Away” and “Lady Marmalade”. Must be able to belt high E and G.

DAISY - Female, all ethnicities, 20s. Gatsby’s long-lost love. Musical selections include “Over the Love and “Everybody’s Free”. Must be able to belt high F.

JULIET - Female, all ethnicities, 18-25. Shakespeare’s most famous ingénue. Should be proficient with Shakespearean dialogue and classical text. Musical selections include “Where the Wind Blows” and “#1 Crush.”

CHRISTIAN - Male, all ethnicities, mid 20s-early 30s. The impossibly earnest writer whose poetry wins the heart of Satine at the Moulin Rouge. Vocally looking for very high pop-rock tenors who can sing “Roxanne” in Sting’s original key many times a week. Musical selections include “Roxanne.” Must be able to belt high C-flat.

GATSBY - Male, all ethnicities, late 20s-mid 30s. Classically handsome and debonair with the old-fashioned good looks of an original Hollywood movie star. Vocally pure sound like Michael Bublé style pop tenor with a solid A. Musical selections include “Back to Black.”

ROMEO - Male, all ethnicities, 18-25. A pretty boy who uses a dark, almost criminal edge to cover a raw, open heart. Should be proficient with Shakespearean dialogue and classical text. Vocally an indie rock tenor with an A-flat. Musical selections include Jack Black’s “Love is Blindness” and “Your Song.”

BALLROOM DANCERS - Male & Female, all ethnicities, 20s - 30s. Attractive, fit. Must be exceptionally proficient ballroom dancers to perform several hot & sexy numbers. No singing required
