Seeking
Equity actor/singers for 8 available roles (4 men, 4 women). All characters are African-American, ages 30-50.

Preparation
Prepare a brief song in the style of the show. Bring sheet music; accompanist provided.

Bring picture and resume.

Breakdown

NOTE: Seeking the most interesting combinations of ages and body types.

4 FEMALE PRINCIPAL SINGERS:
African American women, ages 30 to 50. All must sing well, move well and can tell a story through song. One woman needs a strong head voice, all the others need strong chest voices with decent range. They need to have sexuality and humor. The ability to play a musical instrument ( piano, reeds,or horns) would be a huge bonus.

4 MALE PRINICIPAL SINGERS:
African American men, ages 30 to 50. All must sing well, move well and can tell a story through song. They need to have sexuality and humor. The ability to play a musical instrument ( piano, reeds,or horns) would be a huge bonus.
