The Great Gatsby at Shoctor Theatre

F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic novel re-envisioned by Canadian playwright Erin Shields comes to the Shoctor stage at the Citadel Theatre. Set in the glittering excess of the Jazz Age, the story follows mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby, whose legendary parties draw eccentric New Yorkers from every corner of the city, as he risks everything to reunite with his long-lost love Daisy Buchanan. Directed by Daryl Cloran, the production features a live jazz trio on stage and stars Tess Benger as Daisy Buchanan, Duncan Cox as Jay Gatsby, Richard Lee Hsi as Nick Carraway, Kristin Johnston as Mrs. McKee, and Rochelle Laplante as Myrtle Wilson. The production is a partnership with Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre and The Grand Theatre.
