Hollywood Actor Jay Huguley to Star in Okoboji's 60th Anniversary Production of BOEING-BOEING
Known for taking on gritty and bold roles on hit TV shows like "The Walking Dead" and HBO's "True Detective" and in films like the Oscar-winning 12 Years a Slave, established Hollywood actor Jay Huguley will be returning to the stage to star in French playwright Marc Camoletti's 60s era farce "Boeing-Boeing," it has been announced today.
Huguley will star in the Okoboji Summer Theatre production, as part of its acclaimed 60th Anniversary Season, from July 11 through 16 in Okoboji, Iowa.
He will star in the long-running French play as the lead character, architect and bachelor Bernard, played by "The West Wing's" Bradley Whitford during the play's 2008 Broadway run and by Roger Allam in its 2007 West End revival.
Huguley recently starred as the lead Jonah in last year's indie darling, Sunny in the Dark, opposite Lee Meriwether and Darren Lynn Bousman's (Saw II) horror film Abattoir, and will next appear in Angela Shelton's boxer biopic, Heart, Baby, as well as Craig Macneill's Lizzie, starring Kristen Stewart and Chloe Sevigny.
In 2015, Huguley starred in OST's production of "To Kill A Mockingbird" portraying the lead character, Atticus Finch.
