Des Moines Playhouse Adds Performance of FANCY NANCY

The Des Moines Community Playhouse has added a performance of "Fancy Nancy The Musical" at 4:00 PM, Sunday, May 21. Tickets for this and the originally scheduled performances through May 21, can be purchased online at dmplayhouse.com, by phone at 515-277-6261, and at The Playhouse box office.

Meet Nancy, who believes that more is ALWAYS better when it comes to being fancy. She loves her frilly bedroom, her lace-trimmed socks, and will take any chance she gets to show-off her fancy French! But when Nancy finds out that someone else was picked to be the star mermaid of their first dance recital and Nancy is forced to play a tree, she must learn kindness and find the "fancy flair" in her new role.

The Playhouse is Iowa's oldest and largest producing theatre. Located at the 42nd Street exit of I-235, the theatre has presented a full season of shows since 1919 and also offers a wide variety of educational experiences including classes for ages 4 to adult, theatre trips to New York, and volunteer opportunities onstage and backstage.
