Big Noise Theatre Company Presents SPELLING BEE 9/24-10/17

After successful collaborations producing On Golden Pond and RENT, Big Noise Theatre Company and Ouroboros Theatre Company once again join forces to present the Tony Award winning musical, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. The show will be performed. at The Prairie Lakes Theater, 515 E. Thacker Street, Des Plaines from September 24 through October 17, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m.

A quirky mix of adolescents discover themselves as they vie for the spelling bee championship in this witty & wise Broadway hit about the coming of age...Much like "Glee" on stage, these misfits find a way to stand out and fit in, learning that winning isn't everything. Before every performance of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, audience volunteers are recruited to participate on stage as guest spellers. Each show guarantees a new set of hilarious & unexpected experiences - one night is just as unique as the one before it.
