Vintage Theatre Productions to Stage CURTAINS, 9/18-11/1
Vintage Theatre Productions presents "Curtains" September 18 through November 1 at Vintage Theatre, 1468 Dayton St. in Aurora. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.; Sundays at 2:30 p.m.; Monday, September 28 and Thursdays September 17 and October 29 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $32 ($28 advance). It's the brassy, bright and promising year of 1959. Boston's Colonial Theatre is host to the opening night performance of a new musical. When the leading lady (who can't act, can't sing and can't dance - not even a little) mysteriously dies on stage, the entire cast and crew become suspects. Enter Frank Cioffi, a police detective and musical theatre fan, must solve the mystery and save the show!
Bernie Cardell directs an outstanding cast that includes Andy Sievers (Lt.Frank Cioffi), Suzanne Connors Nepi (Carmen Bernstein), Angela Mendez (Georgia Hendricks), Dave Gordon (Aaron Fox), Hannah Harmon (Niki Harris), Colby Dunn (Bambi Bernet), Eddie Schumacher (Oscar Shapiro), Zach Stailey (Bobby Pepper), Todd Black (Christopher Belling), Dyarl Alexander (Johnny Harmon), Joey Taczak (Det. O'Farrell) and Shahara Ray (Jessica Crenshaw). Rounding out the ensemble is Samantha Burley, Jessica Clayton, Nicole Giordano, Anna Hardcastle, Darren Koehler, Zach Nick, Andy Nuanhngam, and Will Treat.
