Roseanne Barr Comedy Works Downtown in Larimer Square September 27
Roseanne returns home to the stage where she began!
Comedy superstar, award-winning actress, best-selling author, 2012 presidential candidate and the original domestic goddess, Roseanne Barr, continues to amaze. After nine years, 224 episodes and four Emmy awards, she stepped away from her sitcom Roseanne.
In recent years, Roseanne became the center judge on NBC's long running series Last Comic Standing, produced by Wanda Sykes. She has also guest starred on TV shows like The Office, Portlandia and The Millers. Roseanne returned to her sitcom roots when she appeared on ABC's Cristela, which earned them their highest rating of the season. Her big screen credits include She Devil, Freddy's Dead, Blue in the Face and Meet Wally Sparks.
Barr hosted her own talk show, The Roseanne Show, which earned her a Daytime Emmy Award nomination as outstanding talk show host. Additionally, Roseanne has written three books and executive produced a Lifetime series Roseanne's Nuts, based on her nut farm in Hawaii. Her family-run Production Company, Full Moon and High Tide Studio (FMHT), has produced original programming for VH1, as well as Roseanne's fourth HBO comedy special titled Roseanne Barr: Blonde and Bitchin'.
A titan in the world of stand-up comedy, Roseanne returned to her love for live performance, touring around the country and abroad.
