RANDOM RAB + DIMOND SAINTS Come to Fox Theatre 9/23

By:

Random Rab: Emerging from his own distinct corner of the West Coast electronic music scene, Random Rab offers a powerful and unique contribution to sonic exploration. Often referred to as "The Master of Emotion" his music is patently beautiful and melodic. With diverse influences ranging from trip?hop, classical and Arabic to bass driven compositions, his songs are considered anthemic and timeless. As a multiinstrumentalist and singer, his tracks are organic, uplifting and stand on their own as a distinct genre. Listeners of all types of music can find something they can relate to in his sound.

There is no doubt that Rab understands a multitude of musical styles. He has been the front man of a heavy metal band, toured as a classical trumpet player, played bass in a country music band, was a scratch DJ for a jazz fusion project, was the singer for a rock band in Mexico and has collaborated with countless musicians of all styles. From acoustic performances in the Himalayas to rocking packed clubs in New York, Random Rab has found a way to connect with people of all kinds.

With a dedicated fanbase born from the San Francisco underground, Random Rab has become a Burning Man legend known for his sunrise sets that have now become one of his most sought after performances. His current popularity can often be traced to his breakout album, The Elucidation of Sorrow.. This album firmly established him as a recognizable force in the electronic music scene. His latest and 4th album aRose, catapulted him into the state of momentum that is now taking hold internationally.

Sometimes performing solo and at other times featuring collaborative musicians, the live experience is focused on a high quality translation of sound that is simultaneously sexy and psychedelic.

Dimond Saints: Dimond Saints is the new project of, An-Ten-Nae and his fellow, Dimond musician, Releece. Their grand romance with making music, pushing its boundaries, and innovative use of vocals, is garnering attention from A&R Reps and media outlets alike.

Even under the sunny warmth of the spotlight, Dimond Saints choose the moonlit path, shunning the confines of a record label. Releasing Chapter 1: The Rising as a free download, which is apart of their three chapter debut album Shingetsu, the Japanese term for new moon.

Dimond Saints have been releasing bonafide hit after hit since the first single released off of Shingetsu titled "We Diamonds," was devoured by fans and rose meteorically up the Hypem stairway all the way to #4. Dimond Saints' most recent remix of LAYLA effortlessly levitated itself to #1 on Hypem, making a total of 5 songs in just 4 months that have made the top 10 on theFamed Hypem, and garnered them over a Million plays on Sound Cloud. It is no wonder the media is gushing over the saints as they have already received over 2000 write-ups in global press, blogs and online publications. With a creative mine full of musical gems and a release schedule gaining more speed than a gushing, diamond avalanche, it seems as if even the moon is attainable for these Saints.
