This classic story is brought to captivating life as a1940's radio broadcast. With the help of an ensemble that brings dozens of memorable characters to the stage, the story is about the idealistic George Bailey as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve... until he is saved by a truly divine intervention!

Miners Alley Playhouse presents "It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play" November 8 through December 22 with performances every Friday and Saturday at 7:30.p.m. and Sunday's at 2:00 p.m. and Thursday performances on December 5, 12 & 19 at 7:30 p.m. Come early and join the cast for holiday songs and stories of Christmas.

On Saturday, November 16, Miners Alley holds its "Second Saturday" talk back with the cast after the performance. Cast includes David Blumenstock (Freddie Filmore), Christian Mast (Jake Laurents), Haley Johnson (Sally Applewhite), Jason Maxwell (Harry "Jazzbo" Heywood), Samara Bridwell (Lana Sherwood) and BryAnna Scott (The Stage Manager).

Joe Landry's plays have been produced across the country, and include It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, Reefer Madness, Eve & Co., Beautiful, Hollywood Babylon, and Numb. His other adaptations include Death in Venice and Vintage Hitchcock: A Live Radio Play.
