Opening tonight, May 10, The LIDA Project presents the classic work The Hairy Ape by Eugene O'Neill. This classic expressionist work of is re-imagined as a one-man performance with media in this new production.

Featuring Lorenzo Sariñana and directed by Brian Freeland, this new bi-lingual translation and interpretation brings to the front the issues of immigration, class structure, and industrialism. First produced in 1922 the LIDA Project modernizes the work and addresses the themes of alienation from a single lone immigrant on a journey to fit into a stratified world.
