David Grisman Bluegrass Experience Comes to the Boulder Theater, 5/13

Z2 Entertainment will present David Grisman Bluegrass Experience at the Boulder Theater on Friday, May 13th, 2012. Tickets will go on sale to the public on Friday, March 30th, 2012 at 10:00 am for $30.00 in advance and $32.50 day of show.

For the past few years, one of the best-kept secrets of the Bay Area music scene was a David Grisman Bluegrass Experience show. With lines stretching for blocks, it would be standing room only to hear this amazing band.

The band includes Keith Little (Ricky Skaggs, Dolly Parton, the Country Gentlemen) on 5-string banjo, guitar and vocals, Jim Nunally (John Reischman & the Jaybirds) on guitar and vocals, Chad Manning on fiddle, Samson Grisman on bass and of course, David Grisman on mandolin and vocals.

David Grisman has always been a pioneer. He has deeply influenced several generations of musicians through his own musical explorations, and with the continuing success of Acoustic Disc, has helped make artist-owned independent labels a viable force in the modern music business.
