GALLERY EXHIBITIONS

"Pressing the Limits: Four Contemporary American Printmakers" "Pressing the Limits" refers to the presses artists employ to print original graphic works such as woodcut, etching, lithograph, collograph and monotype. For this exhibition, "pressing" has a double meaning,
alluding as well to the artists' technical experimentation. Pressing the Limits pushes beyond traditional print processes and illuminates new
methods. Organized by Hand Graphics Studio of Santa Fe, "Pressing the Limits" first exhibited at the Contemporary Arts Center in Las Vegas, NV and features the cutting edge work of four long-experienced and widely recognized New Mexico printmakers--Michael Costello, Jennifer Lynch,
Willis F. Lee and Mitchell S. Marti. Through April 5, 2009
