Possum Point Players Ad Hoc Touring Company to Perform Valentine's Day Show in Georgetown, 2/16
Possum Point Players Ad Hoc Touring Company presents a Valentine's Day show Sunday, Feb, 16, 2 p.m., at Possum Hall in Georgetown. The Ad Hoc players will take the audience back to the golden days of live radio with a look at old-time shows that honor love and marriage, but also include some of the hilarious complications.
Humorous and nostalgic episodes of FIBBER McGEE & MOLLY and THE BICKERSONS are guaranteed to tickle funny bones of all ages. There will be several comedic skits that will keep the audience amused and fascinated with the "behind the scenes" proceedings required to produce a live radio show. Some in the audience might smile and nod as they remember the good old days while youngsters will get a view of how sounds and mind's eye pictures are created without electronic special effects and wizardry.
General Admission tickets are only $10 at the door and doors open at 1pm. Possum Hall is located at 441 Old Laurel Hwy. Call 302-856-3460 or visit the PPP website at www.possumpointplayers.org for information.
Possum Point Players is supported, in part, by grants from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency dedicated to nurturing and supporting the arts in Delaware, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts.
