NEXT TO NORMAL Closes at Everett Theatre
NEXT TO NORMAL, written by Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey, plays the Everett Theatre in Middleton, DE through March 18th.
NEXT TO NORMAL, hailed as an immensly daring show that celebrates the modern family, shatters the myths of mental illness, and redefines what it means to be "normal" in an ever-changing, unknowable world, opened on Broadway in April 2009. It was nominated for eleven 2009 Tony Awards and won three: Best Original Score, Best Orchestration, and Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical for Alice Ripley. It also won the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, becoming only the eighth musical in history to receive the honor.
The show has evening performances on Fridays and Saturdays and matinees for Sunday performances.
