Ripples at Children's Performing Arts of Miamisburg

Ripples is a new play written and directed by Jake Lockwood and produced by Children's Performing Arts of Miamisburg (CPAM).

Ripples follows the heartfelt journey of Louise “LuLu” Lewis, a teenager with a dream as vast as the cosmos. Inspired by astronaut Sally Ride, LuLu longs to carve her own path — but feels overshadowed by her brother Nelson’s intense passion for space.

As LuLu struggles with jealousy, frustration, and the fear of being overlooked, she discovers that true heroism isn’t about competing for attention. It’s about courage, compassion, and the strength to lift others up. Her transformation from discouraged sibling to brave, supportive sister makes Ripples a powerful story about family, identity, and believing in yourself.
