Schuster Center Celebration Choir Welcomes Spring with 5/1 Concert

The Schuster Center Celebration Choir will present their annual Spring Concert, Sunday, May 1 at 7:00 PM at St. John's Lutheran Church.

Sponsored by Victoria Theatre Association and the DP & L Company Foundation, the concert will feature the Schuster Center Celebration Choir, consisting of adults of all ages and features spiritual choral pieces and a Richard Rodgers medley. Soloists for the concert will be Rick Norris and Karen Bartocci Poe. The choir is conducted by Linda Snyder, Professor and Coordinator of Voice Performance Studies at the University of Dayton. The choir's accompanist is Mary Fahrenbruck.

"I look forward to the Spring Concert every year. This year the music is especially beautiful and will be a relaxing and entertaining evening of song for everyone" says Schuster Center Celebration Choir Staff Liaison and Vice- President of Programming, Tina McPhearson.

The Spring Concert on Sunday, May 1 is free and open to the public. The concert will begin at 7:00 PM at St. John's Lutheran Church.

The Schuster Center Celebration Choir's partner choir, the Schuster Center Broadway Children's Choir, meets weekly and is comprised of youth ages 9-17 and is led by local music instructor, Judy Mansky. Each choir performs numerous times around the community for events such as Urban Nights, the Wintergarden Wonderland Festival and the Dayton Holiday Festival.
