Open Auditions for Independence held March 1 & 2 at 7 PM. Independence explores family relationships - three daughters (Jo, Sherry, and Kess) and their different ways of struggling to achieve independence from their mother. Combinations of guilt, timidity, anger, and need overlap to suggest that underneath dysfunction, there is still love. The games these people play will perhaps persuade you to reevaluate family relations in general.
Performance Dates are: Apr 9-25, 2010
Directed by: Fran Pesch
Auditions will be held at:
The Caryl D. Philips TheatreScape
430 Wayne Avenue
Dayton, OH 45410

•Kess (late 20s-early 30s) - eldest daughter - lesbian, Minneapolis-based professor returning home for the latest family crisis
