About this studio
Just For Kix has taught dance since 1981 and now runs more than 200 programs across 12 states, reaching around 21,000 students, alongside a dancewear, costume and dance-shoe retail business. Classes are grouped by age from preschool through high school with no auditions for weekly classes, and the curriculum covers kick, jazz, lyrical, tap, ballet, hip hop and pom. The program emphasises teamwork, age-appropriate technique and confidence building rather than selective training, and designs its own costumes in house to keep costs down. Dancers can take part in optional competitions including Together We Dance and Nationals, in solo or team routines, and in winter and spring shows, summer camps, a performance tour, workshops and custom choreography. Prospective students are invited to try a class with no obligation.
