About this studio
The Falls Church School of Ballet (FCSB) has served the city of Falls Church, Virginia since 1960 and operates from a studio at 109 Park Ave. It gives children and students of all ages an introduction to classical ballet, with programs from age 3 upward, and trains in the classical Russian style in compliance with the Vaganova method. Pre-Ballet for ages 3-5 uses music and props alongside yogic stretching and choreographic patterns; Ballet Prep for ages 6-7 introduces barre fundamentals; and Ballet 1-3 for ages 8 and up build turnout, strength, demi-pointe, pirouettes and beats. From Ballet I upward the curriculum includes pointe work and character dance.
