For over fifty years, Bob Dylan has remained one of the most important figures in American music. Now a Nobel Laureate, his body of work contains timeless poetry that has inspired virtually every notable musician in modern times.Jamie Daniels (Paradise: A Bluegrass Musical) performs as Bob Dylan with stunning accuracy, authentically replicating his unique sound -- from the early 60's folk scene in Greenwich Village to the radical electric conversion culminating in Blonde on Blonde, the Woodstock retreat, and through the 70's to masterpieces such as Blood on the Tracks, the Rolling Thunder Revue and beyond. With his group, The Jack of Hearts, Jamie has performed the music of Dylan as well as his frequent collaborators, The Band, across the southwest. With a nearly endless amount of musical material, they continue to pay tribute to the very best of American folk rock. This is a show you wont want to miss!

About the Theatre
Austin Playhouse is a professional regional theatre, founded in August of 2000. Over fifty of Austin's leading theatre artists, administrators, and volunteers who had worked with Producing Artistic Director Don Toner to build Austin’s State Theatre Company into one of the city’s leading arts organizations, joined him in creating this new professional theatre for Austin. On November 27, 2000 Austin Playhouse was granted 501(c)(3) status by the Internal Revenue Service.
