The University of Texas at Arlington Department of Theatre Arts and Dance presents Dance in Flux, a concert of creative faculty research featuring new works by dance professors Laurie M. Ndecontee Taylor, Claudia Pacheco Orcasitas, and Ginny Wheeler. Under the artistic direction of Taylor, a Liberian American choreographer whose work explores "placeness" as a thinking-based movement practice, the concert includes her pieces Daba Waraba and The Thirst Before the Pour, alongside Orcasitas's Anahí and Wheeler's No Words. Lighting and projections design is by Phillip Schroeder, with sound design by Tyler Haws.
