WaterTower Theatre Announces MY FIRST TIME As 2010 Out of Loop Production

By:

WaterTower Theatre (WTT) is proud to announce that it will produce the Regional Premiere of Ken Davenport's My First Time as a part of the 2010 Out of the Loop Fringe Festival. My First Time will join previously announced festival headliners Mike Daisey, Seth Rudetsky, The Three Redneck Tenors and 20 other arts group during the 10-day festival.

"I remember my first sexual experience. I was alone at the time!" (Story #6509) "I still have the Metallica shirt he wore that night." (Story #23960) "File mine under clumsy and awkward!" (Story #4294)

In 1998, a decade before blogging began, MyFirstTime.com allowed people to anonymously share their own true stories about their First Times. The website became an instant phenomenon as over 40,000 stories poured in from around the globe. My First Time gives voice to those real, anonymous internet submissions. In stories that are sweet, tragic, awkward, sexy (and everything in between), My First Time will have you laughing in the aisles and thinking about your own First Time.

Directed by former Plano Repertory Theatre Artistic Director Mark D. Fleischer, My First Time will perform in the Festival's Studio Theatre on March 5 at 8:00 PM, March 6 at 5:00 PM, March 10 at 7:30 PM, and March 13 at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased beginning February 16 by calling the WTT Box Office at 972.450.6232 or online at www.watertowertheatre.org.
