Texas Ballet Theater Presents Ben Stevenson's Mozart REQUIEM and New Ballet MARTINU PIECES ImageTexas Ballet Theater (TBT) will present a mixed repertoire by TBT artistic director, Ben Stevenson. Stevenson will re-stage his moving Mozart Requiem together with his new ballet, Martinu Pieces, March 29-31 at Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth, Texas.

Mozart Requiem was last performed in 2013. Featuring an all-male cast, the ballet is a tribute to the unbreakable bond among soldiers and their selfless sacrifice. This moving work is set to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's infamous Requiem and will be by live musicians.

Stevenson's world premiere, Martinu Pieces, is a three-section work inspired by the music of Bohuslav Martinu. The second work in this piece is a pas de deux influenced by the devastating effects of Hurricane Harvey and Stevenson's close ties with the city of Houston. Martinu Pieces will be accompanied by the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra.

The family-friendly mixed repertoire lasts approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes, including a 15-minute intermission. A "Wiggle Room" is available for restless children to play while still watching the performance via a screen.

Tickets range from $20-$115 and are available at www.texasballettheater.org or 877-828-9200. Performances are at Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth (March 29-31).
