Tickets are on sale now for our 7th annual "Christmas Celebration" featuring "Scrooge - The Musical" with visits from Santa, pre-show caroling, Christmas concessions and an All-Star adult & child cast!

Ebenezer Scrooge has spent all his life accruing gold and allowing all his loved ones to slip through his hands. On Christmas Eve 1843, Scrooge is given the gift of one more chance to redeem himself for mankind and for his soul. The musical adaptation of A Christmas Carol reminds us to love one another and to hold each other close!

The North Texas Performing Arts Repertory Theatre proudly opens the production of Scrooge, The Musical, by award winning songwriter, Leslie Bricusse, creator of the musical versions of "Jekyll & Hyde" and "Willie Wonka".

Receiving four Academy Award nominations and five Golden Globe nominations in its movie version, "Scrooge" closely follows the plot of Charles Dickens' acclaimed book, A Christmas Carol, in which the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge undergoes a profound experience of redemption after being visited by a series of ghosts.

This year the cast features professional actors as well as over 60 adults and children from the Plano and surrounding area. "Scrooge" is directed by Founder & Executive Director, Sara Akers with noted actor and Assistant Director Seth Nelson, also playing the role of "Young Scrooge." They are joined by choreographer Tricia Martin and Musical Director recording artist Mose Pleasure III.
