RUNWAY THEATRE PRESENTS Once Upon a Mattress with music by Mary Rodgers, lyrics by Marshall Barer, and a book by Jay Thompson, Dean Fuller, and Marshall Barer. The show is directed by: Andy Baldwin with musical Direction by Michael Plantz and choreography by Darius Anthony Robinson.
In a land far, far away, Queen Aggravain has decreed that no one shall marry until her son finds a bride - and she thwarts every princess who comes along. Princess Winnifred brashly defies the odds in this rollicking spin on "The Princess and the Pea." Once Upon a Mattress is full of side-splitting shenanigans and toe-tapping tunes for the entire family.
