Rover Dramawerks to Open 16th Season with TOWARDS ZERO

Rover Dramawerks is pleased to open their SWEET 16 Season with the classic Agatha Christie mystery, Towards Zero. Performances will be at Rover's theatre in Plano, located in Ruisseau Village at 221 W. Parker Rd, Suite 580, at the northwest corner of Parker and 75. Performances are October 22 - November 14, 2015, with shows on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m., plus an additional matinee performance on Saturday, October 31 at 2:00 p.m.

Neville Strange (played by Maxim Overton) insists it won't be a problem for his ex-wife Audrey (Olivia Douglas) to visit Lady Tressilian (Nancy Lamb) at the same time as he and his new wife Kay (Keila Dawson), but tensions are understandably high from the start. When Lady Tressilian is brutally murdered, Superintendent Battle (Patrick H. Douglass) of Scotland Yard is on the case to solve the crime. Dame Agatha at her finest!

Rounding out the ensemble cast are Emily Burgardt as Lady Tressilian's companion Mary Aldin, Stan Kelly as shrewd family friend Mathew Treves, Collin Miller as handsome playboy Ted Latimer, Clint Prentice as the quiet yet observant Thomas Royde, and Steven Sposito as local policeman Inspector Jim Leach.

Carol M. Rice serves as director, with Katie Ayers as Stage Manager. Set design is by Erica Rémi Lorca, with lighting design by Matt McNeill and sound design by Jason Rice. Costumes and hair/makeup are by Kayla Freeman, and props are by Alexandra Cook.

Tickets for Towards Zero are $16.00 on Thursdays and the one Saturday matinee and $22.00 on Fridays and Saturdays. Thursday, October 22 is Preview Night, and all seats are $10.00 in advance online or "pay-what-you-can" at the door. After the show on Friday, October 23, patrons can meet the director, cast, and designers at Rover's First Friday Insiders. Tickets for the First Friday performance are $32.00.
