Brief Synopsis:
Becca and Howie have everything a family could want until the unthinkable happens, turning their world upside down. Their well-meaning family members do their best to help (and deal with the tragedy themselves), as everyone tries to come to grips with their grief. Rabbit Hole charts their bittersweet search for comfort in the darkest of places and for a path that will lead them all back into the light of day.

Roles:

Becca Corbett: late twenties to early forties. Fairly straight-laced, direct and practical, but with a sense of humor. Up until recently a full-time mom, she is still coming to terms with the loss of her young son in an accident less than a year ago.

Izzy: mid-twenties to mid-thirties. Becca's sister. Perceived as the sibling who screws up, is searching for what to do with her life and deep down wants to make good. Good sense of humor and close to her mother and sister, albeit with a healthy dose of sibling rivalry.

Howie Corbett: early thirties to early forties. Becca's husband. Being strong for Becca, he seems to have it together (on the surface, anyway), but he, too, is adjusting to the loss of his son.

Nat: mid-fifties to mid-sixties. Becca and Izzy's mother. A peacemaker, she has already lost one child, an adult son, to addiction 11 years ago. She wants to help her children, thus offering the proper amount of encouragement and prodding to do so.

Jason Willette: seventeen, a senior in high school. Well-spoken, well-mannered and respectful. He, too, is trying to come to terms with the accident (it was not his fault), as he was driving the car that struck and killed Becca and Howie's son. Like the others, he does not quite know how to do this but he does not avoid this responsibility.

Please note: ages are approximate and casting decisions will be made accordingly, so if you are somewhat younger or older than the ages listed, please consider auditioning. The director is looking for a good fit and age is only one factor.

All roles are available.
