Mission Prom Hosts Benefit Party And Concert 3/17

Mission Prom is proud to announce The First Annual Benefit Party and Concert featuring recording artist Jessica Ferguson. Special guests include The Classmates and DJ Slow. Mission Prom will donate part of the proceeds from this beneit to Wyclef Jean's Yele Haiti Foundation's Earthquake Fund. The Mission Prom Benefit will be held at The Meridian in Houston on Wednesday March 17th. Doors open at 8pm. Tickets are $15.00 and can be purchased in advance at www.missionprom.org

Mission Prom is a non-profit organization started by Cortney Warren who is 17 years old and a National Junior Olympic Volleyball Player. Cortney says "she believes in being a leader on and off the court" and as founder of Mission Prom, she hopes to change the lives of many girls and let them know they are all beautiful.

The First Annual Benefit Party will benefit high school junior and senior girls with the cost of the traditional prom. Mission Prom's mission promise is to go above and beyond to make prom night what it should be, and that is the most memorable time of a girl's life!

Yele Haiti (www.yelehaiti.org) is a foundation started by Grammy-Award winning musician, producer, and social entrepreneur Wyclef Jean. Mission Prom's donation will benefit the foundation's earthquake relief efforts.

Rising pop star, Jessica Ferguson,just released her single, "Rockstar" on iTunes, Internet and College Radio Stations. Her song "Entertainment" was released in the movie, "Paul Blarts: Mall Cop." Working with High School Musical Award Winning producer, Andrew Lane and Beyonce's "Upgrade You", CameRon Wallace...Jessica is working on completing her debut album in Los Angeles, California, where she is also on a School Tour. Jessica has also appeared in several main staged shows in Houston with Theatre Under The Stars such as Aladdin and When You Wish.
