Casa Manana Theatre Presents TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS

Casa Mañana Theatre presents 'Twas the Night Before Christmas: A Holiday Musical and Parody Spectacular, sponsored by Frank Kent Cadillac and Macy's as part of the 2018-2019 Children's Theatre season presented by Regions. Tickets are on sale now.

Molly is having trouble finding her Christmas spirit. Determined to make it a Christmas to remember, Molly's mother takes her on a magical treasure hunt through New York City from Radio City Music Hall to Macy's, where they encounter dancing elves and even Santa Claus himself! Featuring Christmas parodies of some of today's most popular songs, 'Twas the Night Before Christmas is a yuletide spectacular guaranteed to put you in the holiday spirit!

'Twas the Night Before Christmas is written and directed by Joe Sturgeon. Grady McLeod Bowman is choreographer. Mr. Sturgeon has acted and directed in more than 60 productions, and in 2010 his modern adaptation of The Revenger's Tragedy was performed at The Kennedy Center. Mr. Bowman's choreography credits include Beauty and the Beast, The Cher Show, The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show and Jesus Christ Superstar.

The show stars local favorite Laura Wetsel (Pinkalicious, Junie B the Musical, Fiddler on the Roof) as "Jingle," Emily J. Pace as "Jangle," Laura Lyman Payne as "Mary Midkiff" and Maddox Rogers as "Molly Midkiff." Ensemble members include: Hannah Arguëlles, Macye Armstrong, Madeline Ayala, Alexandra Cassens, James Chandler, Winston Daniels, Lila Dildy, Alyssa Gardner, Nigel Hall, Michael Isaac, MJ Martinez, Morgan Maxey, Maya Michalski, Katie Pfeffer, Mark Quach, Ally Ramsey, Mary Ridenour, Zach Sutton, Nicole Wicks, Madeline Yarbrough and Sarah Youngblood.

Additional creative team members include Chris Widomski as music director, David Neville as lighting designer, Mike Sabourin as scenic designer, Eric Norris as sound designer, Tammy Spencer as costume designer and Catherine Petty-Rogers as hair, wig and make-up designer.
