Recognized as one of the creators and performers of the Tuna series, he received the L.A. Drama-Logue Award and a Helen Hayes Award- nomination for “Best Actor”, and received the Texas Governor’s award for “Outstanding Contribution to the Arts by a Native Texan.” Williams has also represented the State of Texas at The White House by performing there on numerous occasions.
