Austin theater company, Paper Chairs will travel to Fort Worth to present an original, MURDER BALLAD MURDER MYSTERY.

This backwoods musical, written by Austin playwright and Paper Chair company member Elizabeth Doss, features live music, dance numbers, and bawdy bad guys. A lone sheriff aims to corral these demons as they sing and dance 'til no one is left standing. This play investigates the many ways and whys we carry out a death sentence. It's "overwhelmingly entertaining... [with] many quirky, oddball moments that make the show great." (Broadway World fall 2013 review.)

MURDER BALLAD MURDER MYSTERY's legendary outlaws are back on the prowl. After abounding success this past fall touring to the New Orleans Fringe Festival and the Lost Horse Saloon in Marfa, TX, and packed performances across Austin, this show is ready for another round of existential haunting! Our stellar ensemble features both returning and new cast members.

MURDER BALLAD will be at The Grotto in Fort Worth Sunday, July 20 starting at 9pm.

TICKETS: $5-$10 suggested donation, available at the door only!

MURDER BALLAD MURDER MYSTERY is directed by Keri Boyd with an original score by Mark Stewart.
