A Mouse Comes to Katy As KVPAC Launches Its Books Alive! Festival This October 2009

The popular children's book, If You Give A Mouse A Cookie, by Laura Numeroff leaps from the "page to the stage" as a professional musical theatre production at the Katy Visual & Performing Arts Center (KVPAC's) Books Alive! Festival on Saturday, October 17, 2009. Admission: Parents FREE; $15/child; $10/sibling.
Admission includes lunch, an art workshop, book bag with book and a door prize for every child. Festival activities introduce children to the wonderful world of books, the joy of reading and stimulate a desire for lifelong literacy.
