From Press Release:

Theatre Out, Orange County's gay and lesbian theatre, presents the Orange County Premiere of THE BUSY WORLD IS HUSHED by Keith Bunin. An engaging drama that mixes faith with matters of the heart, performances will take place at the Empire Theatre in Santa Ana from January 14 through February 5.

When Hannah, an Episcopal minister and biblical scholar, hires a ghostwriter for her new book just as her wayward gay son returns looking for answers to his past, a provocative love triangle is formed and past demons are revealed.

"5 Stars! Searching, perceptive, and absorbing" raves Time Out New York.

"It is exciting to be opening our 2011 season with such a moving work," commented Joey Baital, Theatre Out's Producing Director. THE BUSY WORLD IS HUSHED is at once a play about different layers of faith and the tangled relationships we weave in our life."

"Director Carlos Martin has assembled a first-rate cast for THE BUSY WORLD IS HUSHED. This touching drama will be brought to life by three Theatre Out favorites in a very real way," commented Jack Millis, Theatre Out Artistic Director. "Katherine Curci-Prenovost, last seen in Edward II, Michael Rachils, last seen in Southern Baptist Sissies and Ben Green, last seen in Edward II are breathing amazing life into these characters."
