S'Wonderful Activities Celebrate NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT at Segerstrom Center, Now thru 3/22

Segerstrom Center for the Arts invites all patrons attending NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT to arrive one hour before show time to enjoy several free lobby activities from tonight, March 17 - 22, 2015.

- Accomplished pianist-vocalist Peggy Duquesnel will perform beloved Gershwin hits and other jazz favorites on the Orchestra Level lobby. Singing along is optional but recommended!

- On the Orchestra Level, experience again the Gershwins' impressive musical catalogue through reimagined versions by contemporary artists. Simply scan the provided QR code.

- Two Prohibition-themed cocktails designed by Patina Restaurant Group will be available for purchase at the intermission bars. They will be sold for $14 each.

  • Ace of Spades: Svedka Vodka, fresh blueberry, Cre?me de Cassis, fresh lemon, simple syrup.
  • Ward8: Jim Beam Bourbon, strawberry, sweet Vermouth, bitters, citrus peel.

- As always, patrons are invited to document the evening's festivities by posing for the photo opportunity on the Orchestra Terrace Level lobby. Guests are asked to use #SCFTA and #NiceWorkOnTour on social media sites.

NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT, which ran for more than 500 performances during its 2012 - 2013 Broadway run, is filled to the brim with classic Gershwin songs, including "But Not For Me," "Let's Call the Whole Thing Off," "I've Got a Crush on You" and "Someone to Watch Over Me." This sparkling, madcap tale combines comedy, romance and high-stepping Broadway magic for an evening bursting with laughter, girls, glamour and the glorious songs of Gershwin.
