Segerstrom Center for the Arts continues free movie Mondays, the series picks up next week with Chicago

Don't miss the second-to-last installment of Segerstrom Center for the Arts' wildly popular free Movie Mondays when it returns to the Arts Plaza next week (August 1) with the stage-to-screen adaptation of Chicago with Catherine Zeta-Jones, Renée Zellweger and Richard Gere.

Guests are invited to arrive as early as 5:30 p.m. with the movie starting at dusk. Come ready for another riveting contest with a chance to win restaurant gift cards, tickets to Disney's Mary Poppins at the Center and Orange County Fair passes.

The critical success and boffo box office of Chicago is credited with the rebirth of the American movie musical. With all of the your favorite Kander and Ebb songs, join us for this toe-tapping exploration of celebrity, scandal, and corruption - not to mention, all that jazz!
Rated PG-13, 2002, 1 hour and 53 minutes

Guests are encouraged to bring beach chairs or other easily portable seating items, as well as snacks and picnic suppers. Join us again on August 8 for Rodgers and Hammerstein's timeless The King and I, which was chosen as the Audience Favorite in an on-line poll by last year's attendees.
