Cirque du Soleil's KOOZA Arrives In Orange County, 1/8 - 1/31

KOOZA, the critically acclaimed Grand Chapiteau (Big Top) touring production from Cirque du Soleil, is now raised in Irvine. KOOZA will premiere on January 8 for a limited engagement at Orange County Great Park.

A few technical facts on the Grand Chapiteau and the Cirque du Soleil Village:

  • The Grand Chapiteau stands 66 feet high, 167 feet in diameter and is supported by 4 masts, each 80 feet tall.
  • The Big Top seats 2,555 people in a climate-controlled environment.
  • The Big Top raising requires a team of approximately 80 people.
  • We hire 100-120 locals to help us in the set-up and load out of the entire Cirque du Soleil village in Irvine.
  • It take 7 days to set-up the entire village and Grand Chapiteau
  • The "village" is transported from city to city in 50 tractor trailers.
  • The entire site set-up includes installation of VIP, merchandising and rehearsal tents, box office, administrative offices, a school and a fully equipped kitchen.

Ticket range from $60 to $135 (discounts available for children, students and seniors)
A VIP Tapis Rouge™ package is also available and includes one of the best seats in the house, and access to the VIP Suite one hour before the show and during intermission.  Adults are $250 each and children (ages 2-12) are $175 each. Taxes included.
