Aragon High School Presents INTO THE WOODS

Aragon High School Performing Arts is proud to present their fall musical, "Into the Woods", opening Thursday, November 20th. Anyone who's ever read a fairy tale knows that getting your wish is not always as easy as it should be."Into the Woods" magically spins the challenge of getting your wish by posing the question: how do your favorite fairy tale characters handle the wish they've been given? To their confusion, and our enjoyment, they are not careful what they wish for.
One of Stephen Sondheim's most popular works, "Into the Woods", is a musically sophisticated show that features a fairy tale mash-up of our beloved childhood tales, set in the physical and metaphorical deep dark woods. Equal parts heart and humor, with lyrics that dazzle like spun gold, you'll merrily want to go into the Aragon High School Theater to follow giants, bakers, witches, and lost little girls on their arduous path Into the Woods. Directed by Shane Smuin and choreographed by Lisa Cross with vocal direction by John Chen, "Into the Woods" runs Thursday-Saturday, 11/20 - 11/22 at 7pm; Sunday, 11/23 at 2pm. Online ticket prices are $15.00 for adults, $10.00 for students and seniors. Tickets are available through www.aragondrama.com. Tickets will be sold at the theater for $17.00 for adults and $10.00 for students and seniors. In addition, there will be a preview performance on Wednesday, 11/19 at 7pm (general admission tickets sold at the door only for $8.00).
